Found the end of the line for not having a 5Bar MAP sensor. ECU does not like being over 30psi for more than a few seconds. Once it does it enters some sort of power reduction mode by...cutting timing? Wish I had logged the 8.05 run so I would have seen what it was doing (bad Diggs!) but now I have seen this is repeatable as I have logged it doing this twice now. Here is a 3rd into 4th and a 4th standalone. After it shifts into 4th timing starts where it should then it basically flatlines at 7-8 degrees:

Just flooring it in 4th you can see timing is fine but had I kept going it would have started cutting it.

So...EQT 5bar ordered.

"Diggs, does this mean you car is going to be even faster?"

Yeah, probably. Sorrynotsorry. :poop:

Soon you will find the limits of your rings...

In most cases, the rings have failed first because, as you know, they are much weaker than the rods.
Definitely with you on that one. Ringland failure seems to be the most common failure I have seen. Seems to be most common on pump gas cars that have zero margin for misfires or time for the engine to respond to combustion issues.

Road looked flat, I dunno. Anywho, still didn't solve my timing issue. Need to figure out what to do over winter. Short shifted it again but timing issue persisted. I don't recall the tires spinning so hopefully not the DSG but I think the spinning must be wat's causing it because I can't think of anything else. Probably more like 460-470whp on a flat road. AS3s go on this weekend.
