I AGAIN am indecisive and need someone to decide for me!

Links to what I mean:

Diesel geek Sigma:

Audi OEM Short throw:

and shifter bushings:

My main issue is front to back is a tad to forward for my liking and feels like I have to stretch too far to shift. And since I can't find a shift knob that I like this is what I'm going with in the mean time.

Thanks again guys!

I've been running the Dieselgeek Sigma 6 for a couple of years now and wouldn't have it any other way. Such an improvement over OE. Its been so long now its hard to tell you the differences but I recall the throws being a bit shorter (duh) but the feel was what I enjoyed the most and still do.

I've had both. Started with the OEM euro shifter w/ bushings and that was nice. Went to the DG (specifically the 2021 version) about 2 months ago and would not have it any other way. Definitely a big difference. Go for the DG.

I have the dieselgeek shifter and wouldn't have it any other way. However, I found this setup was not complete without replacing the factory shift knob. The kneck of the factory knob is plastic and will flex on you, which completely thorws off the gearbox. This is what most drivers are fighting in the golf, especially going into third gear. Once you get a short shifter, all of that goes away.

My magic combo was the Dieselgeek setup + Boomba short shifter. You can slam 2->3 all day without missing a beat.
