I decided that day 29 of new car ownership was the perfect time to run into a wall. Not going through insurance, so want to keep costs reasonable as I'm paying out of pocket. Any suggestions?

I did the same thing to my '95 Camaro shortly after I bought it and ended up buffing it out, using a bit of touch up paint and some clear coat spray and drove it that way for 19 years. It wasn't really evident if you weren't paying attention but you definitely could see it. But, since it was on the right side of the car, I never saw it unless I was washing it.

Yours is a bit worse than mine though and, given that's the huge right rear panel, it's not easily replaced. Definitely need to check out Yelp and take some trips to some body shops until you find one you are comfortable with and are OK with their quote.

I hope it turns out good.
