Bought the car back in Dec 2019. A SE with fender and a pano roof. Car was lowered on EMD springs, bald tires and a cracked wheel.

Eventually swapped out to a Bilstein B8 and Eibach pro combo. And found a set of austins

November 2020 Took a little road trip to Kentucky from Atlanta to pick up a set of beetle wheels and had rhem powder coated black

Then I got a set of PP brakes and some stainless lines for the front in April 2021 and a set of Ed’s reps

Scored a set of GTI seats off eBay for $400 and free shipping

Grabbed DeAuto LED bulbs for my tail lights, had them tinted, did the 5 brake light coding, amber turn signal added spoiler extensions, and maxton spoiler,

Yeah grabbed that and a full rawtek kit back on Black Friday. I opted for the dynamic idle as well. Should finally be going on this weekend. I’d like to do the Malone DSG tune as well. There’s one ONE shop for that listed in the entire state of Georgia and surprise it’s not near me. I could rent a tool from Malone but they want a thousand dollar refundable deposit or some shit. It’s retarded.

Rebuilt those pillow balls while they off the car, airlifts design of using them for radial and lateral movement make them wear out prematurely esp cause you don’t know how often the previous owner aired the car up and down - some of these guys like @swcrow airout just pump some gasoline

Ohhhhh yeahhhh this build is getting outrageous. maybe consider some lightweight flowformed wheels, it makes a big performance + dynamics/steering feel difference.
