Dampers for stock springs

My factory non-DCC dampers are starting to feel worn at 60k miles. I don't want to lower the car from stock height, so I will be staying on stock springs. Does anyone have any personal experience using Bilstein B6 or B4 on stock springs? No hearsay examples, I'm mostly curious if the B6 damping is too aggressive for stock rates (I know B6's have this problem on other vehicles).

Thanks

^^ good suggestion on the FSD.. but hasn't it been replaced by something newer now?

I've run B6's on stock springs on my previous Z4M Coupe, they were the perfect solution for me. But no experience on the Mk7 platform. Great thing about Bilstein is that they will easily last 100k miles and beyond. Lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. Your stockers were probably toast long before 60k.

My shocks are at 70k. So I'm also interested in replacements that would improve on the originals, without making the car any firmer, thanks.
