I honestly need to share with yall a good clip with my Canon Rebel T8i. I know the audio wont completely come through but maybe later when I get to another drive it and enjoy it phase, I will invest in audio gear. My car sounds really good above 4k.

Wuddup gang. It's been a minute. Life has been jam packed. Haven't had much free time. Gti is well ish. Installed all the suspension mods, getting a clunk on the passenger front side. Got a check oil level light , but the car has plenty oil via dip stick , so I'm assuming bad sensor. No leaks anywhere to be seen. Still need to do dcc calibration. Anyway, few of those things piled up that needed attention and it's cold here now. Too cold to work on the car and the gti did not feel like a daily driver anymore. Needed something bigger, picked up a tesla as a daily. Great car. Big plans for the gti come spring time. Might build the motor , go bigger turbo , just be stupid. I'll be back to my usual shit posting in the next couple of months. Love you all. Hope you've been well.

Congrats on the daily, it's nice not to worry about "ruining" the daily usability of your car as you're trying to mod it haha

Been driving the tesla for 10 days or so now. Really enjoy the vehicle. Tech is great, it's quick, comfortable, spacious with great visibility. Plugging the car in and having a full charge in the morning is convenient. But the thing can't brake for shit. I'm going to get a big brake kit for it. I was stumbling across the tesla forums asking for feedback and what not, what a difference in patrons from this place. I'm like, anyone get big brakes for this thing, they're like, don't ruin it, check out these floor mats. Bunch of fags; anyway, I'll be adding tesla updates to this thread as well, cause fuck the other guys.

yeah I would think the extent of their "modding" would be "look at these new wheels! "

Brakes in EVs are weird- in my BMW Porsche Audi Sales days I found that some cars had trash brakes because it was expected the drivers would crank up the regen and barely use the actual braking system. (Audi Q4 E-Trons have drums in the rear lmao)

You may have tried this already, but messing with regen might help improve stopping performance for you...a BBK would be cool though so definitely do that still haha

While the 22” make them look small the akebono brakes on my plug in are 380mm fronts and 360mm rears lol.

But like noted above I really don’t use them unless it’s a last min hard stopping situation, as I utilize my regen with the paddles to slow down. Being a manual driver I’d think you’d natural utilize your regen as it’s in reality and better smoother version of engine braking via down shifts…

Maybe there’s a majority of them being lame on that forum but in reality the model 3 is def. Just like mk7s when it comes to “modding” options (aside from drivetrain) and I see them all over Vegas with brake kits, bags, crazy expensive 3 piece wheels, plethora of “body kit parts”, PUDDLE LIGHTS, etc 😂😂.

I did. Regen is great but when I need to make a hard stop from a fast speed it takes longer than I'm comfortable with . It's a heavy car. 4100 lbs I think.

That's fair, can't go wrong with bigger brakes IMO- I did a mild BBK on my daily and I swear it has saved me from hitting a deer on more than one occasion haha
