I'll be honest, I had no idea the CTSVs had held their value so well when I suggested that, haha. I was thinking a 7 year old caddy would be under your number, but they're like $60k+ in the US!
Yeah, they're up there man.

No. No I'm not. I just don't want to fuck around with dcc deletes. Only one I'm aware of is that kw one.
There are a few out there, I can’t find it right now, there was a guy selling kits for a fraction of the price of the big names.

Yeah in regards to dcc deletes, there are a few options as noted. If you really want to retain the electronic adjustment options why not go with bilstein or kw coilovers that still have the dcc option… if you’re not racing it and wanting max travel or “ideal” suspension geometry for a “track car” or daily driving off road why not lower it and make it look good at the same time.

My ev has a very effect adjustable e damper that’s great for daily driving as going from comfort to sport + is a huge difference. But unless you’re daily driving it I don’t think have adjustable e dampers is worth the trade off when it comes to price and options than just getting a Quality set of coilovers like ohlin R&T or kw v2 or 3. Esp if you aren’t someone trying to go super low, but just a smaller wheel gap.

Today I went to pick up a sideview mirror from the dealer. I saw a black mk8r. Out of curiosity I asked one of the sales guys how long it takes for them to come in. To my surprise he said, we have 8 in stock. I said, ok, why - turns out a bunch of people canceled their orders as financing went from 1.9 to 7.9. I asked him to go for a drive. I drove a white DSG. The DSG felt nice, the car felt really solid and very well built. There were 0 creeks, squeaks or any other noise. The haptic buttons were not a huge bother, but I could see the lack of illumination on the heating controls being less than ideal. I punched it. It did not feel fast to me coming out of my car. The car felt solid. I liked it, I did not love it enough to make it my next car. It's too similar to the GTI but a lot slower. Feels nice to have a sideview mirror again.

Today, I purchased things:

I have the RSB that I'll throw in, and I'll buy new rubber.

I will also seek advice from @Acadia18 about a steering wheel purchase.
