Well it’s nothing special but I was happy. Today I did a 40 mph 3 beep roll race with a 2019 Golf R (it was stock) and we went to 110mph. I put down 7-8 car lengths on him and slowed down. He rolled up next to me with the biggest puzzled look on his face that was priceless lol. He wanted me to pull over and talk. (We did). He was asking me how a Gti could be so fast lol man it made my day. It’s not a huge win I know but it made me feel like my work and cash was spent wisely. And I want to thank all the guys here who helped guid me towards my downpipe , intercooler, and software tunes. 3 weeks ago this thing was stock coming off the dealership lot. Now I can’t wait to get my turbo and reflash done. Hell yeah! I had to take a pic of the cars together. It was on my way home from work today.

Well....I also dropped ~300 pounds.
The whole care is gutted.
Sparco seats, rollcage coming.
Custom nitrous cooled FMIC and water meth in work as I type.

Track times (these times are from before the weight reduction and E85 and factory street tires)
1/8: 8.2 @90MPH (Texas Motorplex) [good launch]
1/4 12.8 @111MPH (Ennis Texas) [shit load of wheel hop]
0-60 @4.8
0-100 @9.7
40-100 @6.9
40-80 @3.8


I am hoping to brake 11's with slicks and the 300 pounds dropped, the E85, water-meth, dogmount and nitrous cooled FMIC.

My best 40-100 is 7.07 sec in my is20 GTi. I’ll brake boost 3rd and see if I can get faster.
What’s your 60-130?

My best run at track is: 13.1 sec @114.80mph. No traction......
