Custom exhaust

if I was to put a custom exhaust on a 7.5 would it throw up any lights/error

Not sure what you mean by custom, but I'd go with a nice aftermarket kit that retains the valve functionality. If you go to a competent muffler shop they will be able to keep the valves on a custom system but chopping off the outlets where the valves are located and welding them onto a custom setup. This way you get a custom system but keep the original valves.

If you scan the car without the exhaust valves plugged in, you will get codes. They just won't trigger any lights on the dash.

Yeah I mean like a exhaust shop who does there own exhausts. My one said they don’t support the valves. So I’m worried how to stop the error message when I delete the valves.

Yeah mate cat back stainless. But not fussed about valves lol as they are a bit more expensive lol. So if I do it will be constantly loud but no fault codes on dash just on scanner ?

I find pretty much every aftermarket/custom catback sounds like shit. I'm not a fan of how our engines sound. You like it and want to make it loud and obnoxious and throw on a pops and bangs tune to make it even more annoying? Cool, go crazy.

Back on topic. You won't get a cel. You'll get a hidden code for the valves if the circuit is left open, but that's it.

This car sounds absolutely fantastic compared to other 4 poppers. Don't know what you are talking about.

Both of these examples are AUS / Euro versions of the cars which have slightly different fuel systems & one less cat. But these sounds are easily achievable with a DP and properly tuned exhaust system.
