Only time the news is important to me is when they talk about the weather.

I'm still salty that the government provides weather information for free, and yet everybody tries to sell access to it to you. Tangentally related, but Adam Ruins Everything is a pretty interesting series on stuff like that.

related to civil though, you know how much better life is when you don't know other people's opinions on politics or religion? Even the stuff we agree on, I just don't wanna talk about it. It's a bunch of fun to rile up the maintenance guys at work about tools though -- I get them started on Dewalt vs Milwaukee, and then throw some Ryobi comments into the mix.

We tend to come full circle and agree that it's not about the brands, but what you're doing with them.

Guess I gotta get home and get to work.

It is an exercise in futility, yes, but I don't wanna be one of those guys in the neighborhood contributing to the problem of dandelion spreading.
