If you don't hear it as a driver, either your windows OR your exhaust aren't open enough.

The only reason to drive in the left lane on the highway/close to the barriers is so you get that sweet exhaust resonance.

Right, but the pipe he turned into a straight pipe is the valved part, and closing the valves routes the exhaust through the part of the muffler that'll quiet things down.

Well that's the whole point of trying to make it louder, so you can hear it as the driver.

Problem is, that then makes them extremely loud for those not in the car.

Just replaced the gas cap o ring. I used the razor blade method to remove, and the push down firmly method to install. Thanks for the diy @fORumz_n00bxxx

2 x 4 works better.
