its pretty sad, the chemistry of him and his crew in his late 90's movies was so amazing. just the right amount of random humor completely unrelated to the point of the movie.
what other will ferrel movies am i sleeping on? i think i've only seen night at the roxbury (good mostly in a 'making fun of the 80's/90's sense) elf and talladega nights. might be forgetting a few.
Ohh yeahh step brothers is bomb. And john reilly is my absolute fav as dr steve bruelle for some reason.bro. zoolander? step brothers? anchorman? blades of glory was also fun, but last time i watched it i was like 16. may or may not hold up. but the "no one knows what it means" bit is still a part of my lexicon to this day
edit: i guess zoolander is more of a ben stiller movie, but will ferrell has a big part!
this is called autismmaybe part of why i'm wierd is because i always had very exact interests as a kid and didn't vary too much outside of them.
my interests from various age ranges:
2-5: Firetrucks. Like, I wanted to BE a firetruck
5-7: Buzz Lightyear.
8-10: Dinosaurs, then godzilla
11-13: Aquatic mammals and jungles. Star wars, but not the other one.. star track?
14: Boobs and hip hop (hip hop to current)
15-Current: Ass, and cars
16: Clothes
17: Weed
From there on my interests have broadened a lot. But I was never into sports or guns/shooting games so missed out on all that.
Spanglish is also excellent. He's actually a good dramatic actor, surprisingly.Bro go watch Uncut Gems. It's definitely Sandler's best film. And I'm saying that as a guy who likes OG Sandler comedies.
But it's not a comedy...
