CSB3: Saabin Buys New Wheels!

Saw a lowered Turbo X wagon on my way into work this morning. Black with some dark tint, had the oem wheels.

My heart wanted a saaburu wagon for a minute, bypasses all the shame of associating with the subie bros but still the cool hardware

I wish other manufacturers had poached the night-mode button. Turned off all the dash lights except speedometer which really did make a difference when driving at night. You could configure it to illuminate only 0-80 mph and then 80+ would light up as you got closer, which was cool as hell.

Plus the push button telescoping flip-out cupholder felt like a spy gadget.

This was our 67 SAAB 96 two stroke. I bought this for my wife as a wedding present. The Saab is long gone and I lost my wife in September.

Thanks, for your kind thoughts folks. We were married for 43 years and it came as a real shock when we found out she had maybe five months left. Sad as it is no one gets out alive. She had a great life with many loving friends and family. I hope to see her again one day.
