That will never happen. Kidsruinchange people's lives. My wife and I are firmly against it and will be fine thanks to my smart planning for our retirement years.

someone just called us at work and the caller id was "brown sin"
Pay them more as in create better opportunities for them to make it out, not handouts that disincentivize growth (welfare). If you want the poor to have enough money to live and have basic needs, pay them more, but apparently that's communism and government redistributing tax money to them is capitalism in our broken system.
So you "told on the teacher" in a sense... and got that person fired over a harmless (based imo) email?I started a new job in acquisitions last month, and it’s fucking strange managing that many digits of other people’s money.
On Wednesday I was reviewing a file to authorize the contractor’s employee access to our systems. I noticed the employee gave an email of “the[cia]sucks@gmail.com” and laughed. Sent a message to the contractor’s security liaison saying “hey, I saw this and chuckled, don’t think we can have them give a different email address.
Yesterday the CEO sent an email to my boss apologizing for the unprofessional email and it would not happen again.
Boss forwarded me the email saying “when the contract has that many digits left of the decimal, they don’t play games.”
A few minutes later the security liaison sent me a Teams message saying. “Sorry about that, his new email is unemployed@dipshit.edu”.
I think the “.edu” was a nice touch.
Agreed. Please let's get this thread back on track with general confuckeryGettin pretty politicky in here
How’s everyone’s new year resolutions going?

I probably woulda just asked if the person could change their email... probably cooler than getting them fired... then again I'm a bit biased since I'd probably be someone to do dumb shit in a work environment... I also am not a fan of tattletales.
I'll guarantee you this much though, once he gets past the shock of being fired for doing something that stupid, it's very unlikely he'll do something that stupid again. It's a learning experience. And if he doesn't learn that lesson, all the better they dropped him. That line should have read, “hey, I saw this and chuckled, think we can have them give a different email address?”
Sorry about that, edited original post for clarity.
I didn’t get them fired, they got them fired. I’ve fucked around myself, but never on a $395M government contract.

At the end of the day, there are only 3 choices.Pay them more as in create better opportunities for them to make it out, not handouts that disincentivize growth (welfare).
Instead of the government trying to intervene and attain equality of outcome, they should focus more on making sure everyone has equal opportunities (can get a good education and can apply to the same jobs).
Root cause solutions (equal opportunity) > Band aid solutions (redistribution of wealth)
