I flip back and forth between this and "but paint swirls!" Feel kinda bad for the guy working on it today as it hadn't been washed in a while, but I guess that's why I pay the dude thought about taking it through a swirl-o-matic wash last week just to cut down on how dirty it was pre-detail but didn't end up doing it.

I'm a monster and rarely get out the pressure washer and soap and all that, a lot of the baths for the GTI are done with ONR wash & wax and a microfiber. The Mazdas largely get hosed down and either run through a touchless wash or occasionally given a decent sponge wash.

the last bath the rally car got was simple green and windex and the garden hose. I love not giving a single fuck about that car

I do love my work truck and not giving a singlular little finger fuck about it and running it dirty through a cheap car wash once a month, slapping plansets on the hood for metal ruler measurements, muddy boots and chip crumbs etc

but i also love obsessing over keeping personal cars pristine
