2-3" of snow, followed by steady rain. Snow has compacted to 1" of slush. Predicted rain most of day then turning cold tomorrow. With the gravel and uneven condition of my driveway plowing is futile. It will be like a luge run for the upcoming week.

Concert later followed by takeout today. Roads should be ok today but this will be a week I don't get delivery of stuff to my hose.

CSB: Friend came over and help me test for exhaust leaks and we fixed the gasket. Took him for a spin in the car since he's never been in it despite helping me work on it a bunch. Windows down sunny day and did a few pulls in the car, so much fun. Cleared the codes and hope they don't come back anytime soon.
New episodes of solo leveling and severance we're pretty good, nothing crazy but still good.
Now I just gotta figure out what I want to do the rest of the day, gotta get out of the house.

For valentine's day we drove to Sing Sing (the old name for Ossining, NY) to pick up the dog crate. Found a great diner as we were a bit early to pick the crate up, took 5 minutes to toss it in the back of the Alltrack then found a neat little ice cream place for dessert.

Long day but pretty successful. The seller threw in straps and the mat for under the crate. Nice guy. First eBay purchase that really hit it out of the ballpark. All of it looks like new - about $200 extra in stuff I wasn't expecting.

I feel bad for having talked him into a discount before I bought it. Should I Paypal him $3?

And Sat/Sun was declared a state of emergency for NY because of expected weather. Glad we went down Friday.

Not so CSB: Got the phone call my dad died from my sister. At his house now.

How did he die? Well, they didn't send out a medical examiner, so we'll probably never know specifically. However, dude was having sex, froze up, fell over, hit his head. Dead.
