FL man owned it previously...
lol, 6 months after a major hurricane it ends up for sale in NC...nothing fishy!
So what is wrong with your old car? Asking for a friend
Could be nothing, could be something. The only real bad thing about it was the catastrophic clutch failure I had, I think around 12k miles. The pressure plate had bent teeth, the flywheel was busted, and the bellhousing still has some pretty good marks inside of it from the flywheel slapping against it. I replaced everything with oem parts and put a RSR clutch in it. I was never happy with that cars transmission. The clutch was way too soft when I bought it and the RSR had a better feel, but it didn't really make the car more enjoyable to drive/shift. I kinda didn't really trust it to be a good long term car.
It was in the garage during the hurricane and the water went above the side skirt, but didn't go high enough to get inside the car.
It never got TD1 flagged, but it did have a eqt stage 1 tune on it for a few years.
Once I totaled that clutch I just kinda always had trust problems with that car. I don't know if it was something that I did that caused it, or if it was the previous owner who only drove it for 6.6k miles, or if it was just going to happen anyway. Learning about crank walk at the same time my clutch was destroyed didn't really help either.
