well curiosity got to me and i just tested pouring water on all the drains and low and behold, no leaks! however i fear i must have bumped some silicone into the passageway of the front drivers port as it drips very slowly and diverts most water to the passenger side.

The worst that happens is when someone hits an innocent bystander car or pedestrian or biker, etc.
If anything, do it similar to how the races that are on 1320 video are like. Purpose built cars (cage + hans), bystanders aren't in danger, and no other cars on the road.

Like that 18 y/o kid a few years ago, racing at like 160mph in a Mustang who killed a woman and their kid in a stroller.

Just don't race in public roads.

Ngl it's kinda nice... honestly a 4/5k car IMO... if not less.
Do any of you know of solid daily driver cars for a banger deal near you? It'll be some time before I get my car back on the road (hopefully before 2025), and so I'm open to the idea of finding a DD to get to work in the meantime and have something to beat up if the GTI goes down in the future (knock on wood).
