Just saw a stay dog rip a neighbors chickens head off through the fence then he and his dog buddy proceeded to eat as much of the carcass as possible through the fence.

Fuckin legend
Stay safe down there bro.

Those dogs are probably cartel hitmen and that chicken owed them some...scratch.

I'm a moron, and agreed to help a friend and his brother with a BRZ with (very) leaky headers tonight. And then tomorrow probably as well, but we're also doing a mk6 Jetta front suspension. OEM to OEM, but part of a spring decided to secede from the union and it looks wildly unsafe so I advised we should just get a pair of OE replacement springs/struts because they were cheap. Sunday is a trip out to go get myself a BNIB Aerofabb splitter for the GTI, though I might wait to get my bumper repainted to install it since the bumper needs to come off anyway. Oh, and a slaptacular lobster roll, because my better half has never had a good one.

And just for funsies, last night I went looking for a comfortable daily driver. You know how hard it is to get a vehicle in green? I don't get it.

It aint bad, lots of better ipas out there but it does the trick if cold enough

This is the answer. It's a little heavy for the heat, too. You can probably find a better IPA/better summer beer at that price point pretty easily.

Our sales manager swapped his white A4 for a green A5. Looks nice. I love a good British Racing Green and wish more companies did em.

I love those deep green offerings. Unfortunately it seems like it's a higher-dollar option, everything I look at comes in grey, white, black, silver, and sometimes red or blue but it's always those same handful of colors. I'm really thinking about getting a wrap so I can have a unique color, but that eats into the budget for the vehicle overall.

Also why did Buick have to kill off the Regal TourX :(

bc opel got sold to stellantis lol
I'm half tempted to look for a GFG Alltrack, but I don't know that I want the costly maintenance upkeep. We might just have come full circle, in which I get a CX-5 and accept that I'll have a boring travel/winter car and drive the GTI when it's nice out

also Adam Savage has a youtube show that's pretty interesting

I googled this because I wasn't sure what you were saying (need coffee) and one of the first results looked like it had been lifted, it had knobby tires on it, etc. I wonder if anyone's done a Safari R..........

that's the dream, I thought about doing a soft-road CX-30 but they're small-ish inside and so I'm leaning towards a CX-5/CX-50 instead. I don't really care about actually going offroad (in fact, I'd prefer to stay on the road where possible), it'd be nice to have a more capable vehicle as we might want to do some camping for racecar purposes

I shit on mall crawlers all the time, but I've got one hell of a soft spot for vehicles built for what I think you're referring to. Something built to haul my stuff to places with muddy/gravelly/dirt roads, especially in the winter. Ski towns and the associated mountains don't always have the best roads.

I'm pulling rear koni shocks to increase rebound. I increased rebound in the front and it was still bobbling around slightly over bumps, but I created a little understeer and now the rear feels a little soft in comparison.
