Battery or plug in? I'm not as worried about the electric motor as I am about the shelf life of the batteries. I'd expect around the 5 year mark the batteries would either not hold a charge or hold such a small charge that I'd do about 10 sq ft before having to charge them back up again.
This matches my experience. I had a black and decker electric that was great for my townhouse, but a pain when I got a bigger lawn and I ended up buying a bunch more batteries. Around 7-8 years in, the batteries weren't lasting very long anymore (had 4 in rotation). I recently got an Ego electric and it is light years beyond the old B&D. It's rare the single battery can't clear the whole yard, but on that rare occasion, the rapid charger has it back in action in roughly the time it takes me to trim and edge. I expect I'll need a new battery at the 5 year mark or so, but I'm ok with that. Plus I love not having to store gas cans in my garage anymore or perform mower maintenance.

Battery! Used it to mow all of this, the tree is long gone from when this photo was taken so all of that is grass now.

We got this a lot at Subaru, the whole "I've bought six cars from y'all!" thing.

Like, congrats? You just did what you're supposed to from a dealer? You don't get discounts at the grocery store just because you've bought shit from them a few times??
I tend to buy multiple cars from same dealer. I service them their and I do expect to not be jerked around. I do my research before setting foot in the dealer. I know what the car is selling for, what my credit score is, and what my trade is worth. I don't want to spend all day with a sales guy running back and forth to "talk to the manager.

I've bought 7 cars at this dealer, I don't have a dick growing out my forehead, so don't try jerking me off.

So sorry, it entitles me not to be jerked around. Give me your best deal, I don't have all day.
