Yesterday's Halloween party that me and my roommate hosted was a big success. The house was decorated with cobwebs, ghosts, UV bulbs, orange lights, and lots of other small decor. I made pumpkin bread and the roomie made an orange juice, tequila, triple sec, lime juice mixed drink. Everyone showed up with sick costumes and a lot of us got absolutely hammered.
Went to bed at 2am and then woke up at 7:45 to go to COTA to watch SVRA races. Such a sick event, the last time I went was in 2016 with one of my father's coworkers, who owns a 1991 Dallara F191 (Judd V10 Formula One car). Anyways, there were a lot of sick sports cars, open wheelers, formula/indy cars, trans am, can am, and muscle cars. Tons of fun for only $30, which I didn't even get my ticket scanned because we went through the back. I talked to a lot of great people in the pits, learned a bit about what it would take to get into the racing scene, sat in a few cool cars, and walked away with a Michelin Pilot Sport GT slick as a souvenir.

Am I a dumbass for considering this car?
Already have a 19 in Indium grey but am absolutely in love with Viper Green metallic.

You'd be an idiot to not consider it. If a 91 Blue popped up for that price, with that mileage, I'd be tempted to bail on the MK8.

Why so concave in the front but flush in the back?
You can't get a more concave wheel in the back and to make the front match would mean using a higher offset with a spacer. Apex wheels sets these cars up the same way with their wheel, you get 2 different faces between the front and back.
It's 19x9 et25 in the front and 19x8 et46 from the factory and now it's 19x9.5 et25 and 19x9 et44.

Checked out the Ridgeline and Maverick on Saturday. Quick rundown.

Ridgeline (Sport): Way nicer fit and finish overall. Even the lowest trim comes with the tech and safety stuff I want. Flexible tailgate opening is cool. Trunk in the bed is massive and would be useful for MX gear. Base starting price is considerably higher and, as expected, worse gas mileage. Did not feel as large as the Tacoma I rented last year.

Maverick (Lariat): Pretty underwhelmed with fit and finish for the highest trim available. Still a lot of creaky plastic parts and felt very utilitarian. The overall dimensions and size feel were great though. Lower price tag and a hybrid option are nice as well.
