Like this is an extreme example but hearing the evolution of the Ferrari GT cars is so sad.

F430/F458 had the n/a V8

488 has the turbo V8

...and the new 296 has the turbo v6.

it just keeps getting worse and worse.

Part of that are stricter and stricter noise restrictions at tracks.

C7.R was like Thor himself was at the track racing every time it went passed.

Could barely hear the C8.R.

I know one is cross and one is flat plane, but all the race cars are much quieter now.

The RX8 race cars were stupid loud and high pitched. You could hear them over everything else, no matter where they were on track.

EDIT - the yellow CR-X is the tiniest bit quicker than a 500ps Golf R too lol.

3.0T's are great buutttt, I gotta go with the 4.2 V8's sound. They sound much better imo.

The Porsche GTE cars were the loudest things I've ever heard and with their pitch just hurt. But in the good way.

The Cadlillac GTP still is pretty damn loud.

The Ferrari 499P is also a V6 and loud-ish but sounds so bad lmao.

A good ol' fashioned BLT. Some nice thick cut bacon, crisp slices of tomatoes, some fresh green leaf lettuce, on some good brioche bread. And the nice tang of Mike's Amazing Mayonnaise to tie it all together.
