Made it to work just fine. Took a log for my tuner. Gonna grab a nice lunch to celebrate being back on the road.
Very chill day at work, I'm gonna get a chance to continue reading Lightbringer, the 6th book of the Red Rising series.

To those of you that are good at reading datalogs, could I ask for a few minutes of your time to review my datalog from this morning?
Everything seems running smooth, but I've got my eye open for anything that would need adjustment/fixing. I made a few notes in my build thread since this is really where a discussion like this belongs, but I'm shamelessly plugging it here so I can get some more eyeballs on it, especially from the mk7 folks.
Any help is much appreciated <3
Red rising was really good.

Not sure if you like fantasy, but Death Gate series was good too

Have you read all the books in the series?
Haven't heard of that series, will check it out. Way of Kings is up next.

Yep. When i find a new series, i just buy the whole series at once. That has bit me in the ass just once with The Black Company by Glen Cook. That was a terrible series for me & even though i didn't like it, pushed through all 9 books.

Anything Sanderson is great. Just finished Mistborn series although i liked Stormlight series more.

Lightbringer is another great series. Now i do tend to like easier reads, so keep that in mind.

I'm the same way but hate it when I find some new series and love it, but the series isn't finished yet - especially if it's a big universe with multiple plots. Looking at you, Sanderson...

Haven't read Lightbringer but I did enjoy Weeks' Night Angel series.

Same bro same.

Currently reading The Blacktongue Thief since it's a kU offering, and enjoying it so far. I've read a lot in the last couple years (80+ titles p/a), pretty much only scifi or fantasy.

Currently reading a few books bit by bit, not staying on track on any of them lol

"How the world really works" by Vaclav Smil - A book about all of the blindspots our great society has in material aquisition and the needs our economy and life support has on critical resources like ammonia, fossil fuels, etc.
"Determined" by Robert Sapolski - read a few books by this guy and love them; he is primarily a researcher of neuroscience. This books main focus is advocating that there is no such thing as free will.
"The Selfish Gene' by Richard Dawkins. Probably would have been a better audiobook, because it reads a little dry and antiquated, but is nonetheless fascinating on explaining how genes drive for the reproduction of species. A great book so far to learn more about how evolution works, moreover some hints as to why.

yeah I'm not going back into that existential crisis rabbit hole, as it is I'm just one errant thought away from full rick & morty taking roy off the grid shit

I used to like the R.A. Salvatore books, and in general I have pretty weird taste and wanted to check out House of Leaves. I dig those sort of mindfucky books (and by extension, movies and TV shows)

You play any Neverwinter Nights, or D&D? It's been ages, but I remember both fondly -- one on PC and one on paper 🤓
