How does your wife feel about you spooging on her lasagna?

Seriously, that looks good to me

How witty, hope you didn't hurt yourself thinking of that sick zinger. Definitely never heard that one before. Serious question, have you ever gotten beat up for running your mouth and being a smartass to literally everyone? Or is this just your keyboard warrior online persona?

Cali recap: the corkscrew is so much bigger and cooler in person than I would've ever imagined. Legitimate racecars were also cool as shit. A couple photos I was able to catch fireballs. Earplugs are actually a worthwhile investment (holy n00b). I spent way too much on dumb VW memorabilia, including one original photo I couldn't find online anywhere that will make for part of a neat piece in the near future, I'll post it here once it's complete. Everyone is way nicer out there, it's borderline weird. Cars stop for you in crosswalks. Like, preemptively, if you look like you're about to cross. I had an amazing jalapeño cheddar bagel breakfast sandwich thing, slaptacular pasta, greek, so much tasty food.

We also did this Porsche meet thing and there was all sorts of just silly stuff there, I'm a wiener so I loved the 944s. Also got advised to get a 981 Cayman for AX/track use, wife likes the way they look so that's a plus.

I gotta figure out how to get on track at Laguna Seca. It's so cool, getting a car out there is difficult. I talked to a guy on the plane out of San Antonio who helps run CarFest SA, we might need to check it out/make a trip of it if there's any tracks in the area. The goal is to at least see/spectate at as many major tracks as possible, driving them when it's possible.

fuck laguna seca was so fucking cool and I wanna go back

its a good bike track but horrible as a car track for actual racing.
I think I read somewhere that they run bicycles on it, that's the only way I'd ever get back on a bike lol

Obviously I don't know the first thing about it in real life for actual racing, but it's such an impressive place overall and I just want to drive it at a reasonably fun speed

Corkscrews are so much fun. Wish more tracks had them, Grattan is my favorite track (that I've been to) because of it
I'm a n00b and unfamiliar, where is Grattan located? In general, any advice for someone who wants to get on track, as far as orgs which will rent you an appropriate car? Doesn't need to be full-on racecar, just something with decent tire and brake/fluids that can be done arrive & drive style. I looked a little at Skip Barber just because they do Laguna Seca, but I'd love to know any/all options out there.

Being in the northeast we have some options we could drive to, but I don't know that without a trailer I want to risk it, just in case. We've driven at Pocono when they do autocrosses on the infield there and it's super fun and we just drove the cars there and back, but my understanding is that track sessions will be much tougher on cars. Personally my goal is just to have some fun, not really looking to be competitive. I think we'd wind up in the beginner/novice group anyway, with point to pass only and instructors and whatnot, which I'm fine with.
