Out all day saturday helping friends pack for their move to Vermont, we got to take one last ride in the GR Corolla and rally Miata (no pics, but lift kit and rally tires ftw). When we got home, our cat (who's normally vocal anyway) was making a ton of noise, but not the normal happy/come feed me/I want attention meows. So we watch her a bit, she's struggling to shit. Call a local animal ER since the vet is closed, they recommend bringing her in. This is like the opportunity to see if something's wrong, because she normally shits in her crate whenever she's in a car. Nothing, no pee (thank god, because I need to drive this car to work). So we get to the vet, get her checked out, and well, instead of getting my deadset kit and front sway bar, I have a picture of my cat's gassy GI. Enjoy, y'all.

as a bonus, shortly after a thermometer in the ass and some hydration, we got her home and she was 100% back to normal.

i spent my better part of the day yesterday making a 3 ft deep 'ladder shelf' for this dumb closet thats above our staircase. Can finally store things there. It didn't turn out geometrically perfect but i'd never had to cut 45 degree along any length of wood before so it turned out ok for my lack of experience
