I've called several of the lease return places before. Some of them seem cool......... but more than a couple seemed slimier than the "buy here pay here" lots.

CPO would be the ideal vehicle for my daughter......but the cars with a decent warranty included in the deal seem to be towards the high end of her budget.

I was talking about places like https://www.swapalease.com/ - not the local lots. Most of those local lots are sleazy, they buy cars from the internet, mark it up and sell it.

Your daughter doesn't want to sit on the side of the road. Maybe she needs to look for a lower model line to get that warranty. Nissans are decent and usually cheaper than Honda/Toyota and just as reliable.

Also, look for cars farther away - East Coast is usually cheaper and adding a flight to pick it up may still be cheaper.

Fly and drive is my favorite way to get a good deal on a car. I'll expand the search radius a bit and see what comes up.

File under victory. I am fairly confident I have fixed my big lawn mower

Symptoms:
1. Intermittent shuts off dead
2. Intermittent sputters to stop....can sometimes save by stopping blades and drive
3. Seems to be more apt to give issues when Hot
4. Seems more apt to happen after Left turn (Fuel goes into carb from left side of tank large tank always at 1/2 full or more )

replaced plug, new fuel filter, bypassed safety switches, bypassed run switch no real change.

Spoiler: Intermittant problems suck

When going through it this Spring saw a loose wire on what is the ignition ground
