how are you with slavic accents?

they're super easy for me to understand
Any accent can be a problem if it's thick enough. Even if you're a redneck that only speaks english, if that accent is thick enough, I'm gonna have you repeat every other sentence or I'll straight up tell you I have no idea what you're saying. If it's not important I just go along with it and laugh when they laugh. Pretend I understand even though I don't get a single word.

British accents I'm pretty good with, but that's an easy one.

Positive accent story time: In my last job, I worked with this guy Peter, who was one of our SAP Developers. And this dude was LOUD as fuck, and had a heavy, heavy German accent. I actually had no problem understand him. But anytime he'd leave my area, my coworkers would always go "How the hell do you understand a thing that guys says?"...

To be fair, I don't understand what I'm saying most of the time either.
I don't get it, isn't everyone from the greater Boston metropolitan area? Shouldn't we all be able to understand each other, when we talk about cahs?

As someone who's experienced All of those cars in person.

The Cadillac is on par with the C7.R which was also on par with the Corvette DPs, and the RX-8's are roughly the same volume as the 911 but the pitch of the 911 hits you deeper in the skull than the RX-8's do.
I've experienced them in person too. I 100% guarantee the C7.R was significantly louder than the Caddy GTP. Not even close.

I just moved here.

I'm from Bosnia/Denmark/Chicago/NewYork/Chicago/Honolulu/Chicago/GreaterBostonMetropolitanArea
I used to work with a guy from Bosnia, from what I hear it's a beautiful country. His accent wasn't awful, we had some good conversations. Since you've been to both Chicago and NY, let's get some debate started (right before I leave work).

Also New England Accents are wild, especially as you get away from the cities out into western Mass. I thought the whole accent thing was an overblown joke (never in all my years of living in Chicago have I met anyone my age who had that "DA BEARS!" accent) but those regional N.E. accents are real.

Chicago.

Last time I was in NY I finally tried Joe's (the one everyone told me I was missing). It was good, but it's not Burt's place good.
