QA engineer by trade, middle management b/c I’ve built all of our technical QA processes from the ground up and they don’t know what to do with me.

I’m essentially a manager/product owner/scrum master/architect rolled into one.

what the hell is it called when words are spelled SIMILARLY but sound different (not exactly the SAME, like live (to live) and live (i bought live chickens)?

i.e. - heard, beard, bear, for instance - similar main word but totally different pronunciation for each with no reason provided

its close to being heteronyms but not quite.

Interview went fine, but don't think it'll work out. While I don't think I'd have a problem doing the job (wouldn't have applied if I didn't), he seems like he wanted someone who already has project/program management experience, which I don't fully have. Have some skills and experience that work in parallel with that, but no direct experience. He did say his boss is big into data and analytics (more of what my background is), so we'll see how many points that gets me

Not too worried about it, that's the benefit of applying for a job when you don't need one. Would be great if it works out, but no huge impact if it doesn't.

I keep getting adding to more transition projects with UF as they figure out I did the informatics, workflows, built and managed every major project the last 5 years.

I'm now involved in 6 projects. My days are nonstop meeting hell. I don't want to fuck up and get promoted, I don't want to manage people (time cards and evaluations, etc...)or have to work on site, but I also don't want the projects to fail like their shitty football team. It's a delicate balance.
