Spoiler came in for my GTI yesterday.

Kinda conflicted because I wanna get the roof of the car wrapped in black, so I am wonder would it be better for me to paint match the spoiler Pure White or to leave it Gloss Black as it came?

I kinda say whether you have it painted or not I feel like I would rather place the spoiler on top of the vinyl, rather than cutting the vinyl around the spoiler. My theory being that I think if you wanted to remove it later on it it might be easier to remove it as you peel the vinyl off. Peel the vinyl off and the spoiler will come with it. I tried to remove the spoiler off my mk6 before I traded in and 1/4 of the way in it was like nope, fuck this, it's staying on.

I never even considered wrapping my roof on a white car though. I kinda figured a white roof would be better with all the heat and sun we have in FL, plus the black roof will look dirty right away. Now I have a black roof though and it doesn't bother me at all.
