So what's the tale about the duck? Inquiring minds want to know.

They did a whole show about it

Ok what the fuck kind of spider is this. Sorry i know hes a little mangled from being slaughtered with a croc. Been finding a good few of these around the house, this is the biggest one yet and hes got some fur. Im sure he pales in comparison to some spiders others might have in their backyards

Alright spider chat wtf is this

Also corded the tires at this weekend's event, looks like I'm running the backups for the last one of the season in two weeks. Codrive with Mrs Nine for a solid second place finish less than two tenths off in a car I've not driven in over a year... I'm about to buy it from her

We just had a wolf spider in the house a few days ago. They're actually good to have around because they eat other spiders and insects, including cockroaches. We just prefer them to stay outside and not in the house haha.

Georgia has been overrun with joro spiders. I think that we have at least 5 or 6 on our house somewhere. Their webs can be massive and are quite durable. We generally leave them be unless they're getting too close to an entrance.

Single owners both at a vw dealer:

2015 sq5 looks real clean
175k miles
$10500
Sure i would need to drop minimum 1k into preventative maintenance in the top end (pcv valve, water pump, carbon clean, some other typical fail points), maybe cats soon enough, probably control arms, maybe the hydraulic engine mounts. Call it $3k if i do it all myself.

Main benefit to this one is dramatically reduced car payment, but that of course is assuming no other B8.5 problems, i definitely have some heartache after the 2010 S4 with 171k miles, but that one had a lot of owners and some sketchy shit on it and quirks that were never resolved. I tend to trust well looked after single owner cars. But its still a fuckton of mileage on a 10 year old car now lol.

2019 Lapiz Blue MK7.5R with digital dash
113k miles
$21900
My wife really liked the MK7R i had a few years back, and was open to a MK7 GTI till she found out they arent AWD lol.
Assuming it needs nothing immediately since these are such solid cars, outside of preventative dsg flush, maybe carbon cleaning to be safe since its not on the carfax

They both appear bone stock

Incredible price for either IMO esp being single owner cars. Pretty unheard of deal for the R i think. By far the cheapest mk7.5r around even for the mileage

what else changed between the mk7/mk7.5 r, really? 7 speed dsg is better/stronger. outside of that, digital dash, better head unit, perforated seats, thats about it right? in fact i think there were some cost cutting measures implemented like not felt lining the glovebox and stuff like that lol

these are the only other two strong options on my radar currently.

2018 Q5 Prestige (mostly adds better bolstered, ventilated seats and a few other goodies over premium plus)

$20,000

Tiguan is probably by far the most sensible thing to do, but it doesn't tickle my balls much at all. but its a nice car

what does your wife look like want in a car?

+1 one vote for boring reliable car with plenty of room for kid and all accessories required for today's parenting.
