I let my buddy borrow my drill and drill bits last week so he could do some things around his house.

Decided to start getting some work done on the new-to-me exploder and the first screw I tried to remove was fully rounded. Metal started to twist when I used my dremel to cut a groove into the top and tried to back it out via flathead.

Now i gotta go get my drill bits back to get this bolt out.

The rule still stands, you don't need a tool until after you let someone else borrow it.

I hate borrowing shit to people. WTF is wrong with people not returning shit after they borrow it??!? Any time I have to borrow something it gets returned right after I'm done. Annoying as shit having to ask for your stuff back.

I lent my brake caliper tool to someone a month ago and they haven't reached out to me about returning it.

Gonna try to put the MX3 back together and see if I actually fixed it. I put the head back on it, so now it's just the rest of reassembly and timing. Shouldn't be too awful, and tbh it's not even tense because if it doesn't run it's just gonna get scrapped

but I need to buy more stuff for the GTI :x so many moving parts at once

probably 80% of my shits have been paid for over the last 18 years

put better - if i only shit once per shift, 5 days a week, (which lets be honest...) i've been paid to take approx 4,680 shits.
working that number to 1/2 hour per 'shitft', and a median hourly rate over the last 18 years of working to $20, i may have made some $46,800 shitting.

damn could have shit out a mk8r.... if i didn't flush all my money down the toilet too.
