Yup. I'm no herbologist, but I think overall the tree is fine? Bark burned a bit, but nothing burned deep. You can see an entire spot up the tree though where all the pine needles burnt off

It was late June, 10:00pm, major storm system rolling in, tons of lightning, 30mph winds, but no rain at all yet. Our neighbors decide that it is the perfect time to start a bonfire with a metric shit-ton of some kind of accelerant… directly under a bunch of trees!
