Hi guys, done done reading on the forum which was helpful but I have an enquiry which I’ve not found an answer for.
I’ve been to view a car knowing this fault was on there. The garage said they will repair so all good.
I’ve been told they have replaced the bulb and still have the error.
They have replaced the lighting module and had an issue with coding it so VW have dialled in and they have said the issue lies with the headlight unit.
The garage have another MK7 GTD which isn’t up for sale yet so they are removing a headlight unit from that and fitting to mine which should hopefully rectify the issue.
Has anyone else had this problem? What would cause the issue? Would a new headlight unit fix the problem?
I am being updated later today but just wanted to see the general consensus on this one.
Is there potential for further issues down the line?
Car in question is a 65 plate MK7 GTD.
