Compressor surge or DV noise ? flutter noise on full throttle

I am not sure if its compressor surge or just normal DV noise.

Thirs gear full throttle from 2500 to 5000rpm

mods :
JB4 map 2
IE cold air intake
CTS turbo turbo inlet pipe
ECS tuning Turbo muffler delete

Sounds a bit like surge. That would seem pretty unlikely though.

My guess is maybe the diverter valve fluttering due to the JB4 and increased boost?

DV noise. Normal. EQT tunes around it a little bit, but can still happen even with their tuning.

FWIW, not just EQT, I haven't heard the DV do this on any of the tunes i've used.

APR stage 2 makes the same noise. Once the turbo swap is all done I wonder if the noise will go away, since I'm keeping the stock diverter.

Yup super normal esp when it’s warmer outside and you are running an open intake.

Would happen on my car with the jb4, and still now with the sneeky tune on my hybrid.

When I run my closed system intake you cannot hear it at all though.
