Howdy, VW fans. Please read the ad description below. 98% of your questions are addressed in stunning transparency.
Up for grabs: custom locking subframe kit for the front of the MQB cars.
Brand new kit, still in its packaging.
I have personally run a kit with these components on our shop car (2017 GTI) that sees regular track and performance use, and it has been faultless.
Kit includes:
4x ARP T-304 stainless bolts (same specs as OE)
4x ARP washers
1x ARP grease pack for the threads and bolt heads
8x aluminum centering collars for the subframe (4 bottom-specific, 4 top-specific)
PDF install instructions.
Applications (what it fits):
2015-2021 VW GTI and Golf R (Mk7 & 7.5 MQB)
2019-2023 VW Jetta.
2012-2019 Beetle.
Should also fit 2015-2021 Golf base models.
(virtually any 2015+ VW/Audi with a steel front subframe)
THIS KIT IS FOR PEOPLE WHO…
-Hate 1-time use TTY bolts
-Have camber/caster hat's uneven side to side
-Suspect they might be doing their suspension mods in stages
-Are already making changes to the chassis to get the setup you really want
-Have top drop your subframe for a clutch job or FSB install
-Want to get serious about tracking your car
If any of the above sound like you, then this kit is worth your time and investment.
I have detailed install instructions on a PDF if you’re doing this yourself.
Alternately, if you’re in/near Texas, I can offer pro installation (with warranty) at one of my shop locations, which specialize in Euros. Please DM/e-mail me for more info.
The re-usable ARP hardware will NEVER fatigue or fail on you, and the centering collars make removing and reinstalling a front subframe effortless.
ARP = race-grade.
LOCATION: Round Rock, TX (78665)
KIT PRICE: $165 picked up locally, or $175 shipped to the lower 48.
PAYMENT: Cash or VenMo.
Price is firm. I have a ton of time, testing and research in this.
The end results are excellent for the cost, and 40% ($110) less than the next closest competitor.
Fastest way to reach me: "supershepsky" at gmail-dot-com is my email. I don't make it onto this board like I used to, so DMs will have extended delays.
Thanks for looking!
