Up for grabs: custom locking subframe kit for the front of the MQB cars.

Brand new kit, still in its packaging.

I have personally run a kit with these components on our shop car (2017 GTI) that sees regular track and performance use, and it has been faultless.

Kit includes:

4x ARP T-304 stainless bolts (same specs as OE)

4x ARP washers

1x ARP grease pack for the threads and bolt heads

8x aluminum centering collars for the subframe (4 bottom-specific, 4 top-specific)

PDF install instructions.



Applications (what it fits):
2015-2021 VW GTI and Golf R (Mk7 & 7.5 MQB)

2019-2023 VW Jetta.

2012-2019 Beetle.

Should also fit 2015-2021 Golf base models.

(virtually any 2015+ VW/Audi with a steel front subframe)

I've considered something like the dead set kit for a while even though I don't drive my car hard or track it. I am simply tired of alignment shops telling me it needs a subframe shift to get fully into alignment perfectly, but they don't do that

You can look up the OEM bolt specs and match them up to the ARP bolt specs. I did this at one point to change all the undercarriage suspension bolts to ARP bolts.

ARP 764-1011 for the 4 larger bolts.
762-1003 for the smaller ones on the brackets.

The larger ones are a bit longer than the OEM bolts but dead set kit makes up some of that anyway.
