So I got my AP this morning.
First of all Cobb direct went over and above to help me when we had issues with converting a BMW AP to VLK spec by expediting a new unit across the globe when the remote re-licence didn't work. Hands down the best CS I have had in a long time. as soon as they support MG1 ECUs in the new polo Gti we will be ordering one for my wife's car. Truly grateful to those guys.
DSG map flashed without a issue but things were not so smooth on the ECU side.
Now I knew Cobb don't offer OTS maps for my car as its the latest Euro spec, they do however have the ability to talk to my Simos18.10 ecu.
The car came upon with the message:
Your Vehicle Currently identifies as:
VLK_CXDA_5G0906259S
I assume my Protuner will be able to request this base rom from Cobb and use it as the foundation is a Custom Protune?
anyone had similar situation before.
