can anyone with a GTi or R confirm if the AP can read E content on our cars? i was under the impression i was going to still need a 3rd party ethanol content analyzer even when AP.

We don't have E content/FlexFuel yet on our platform. That picture was posted by a troll who doesn't even own a VAG car, that trolls around our forum because he got banned from his Subaru forum for saying repeated racist/xenophobic things, and general asshat-ery

As others have mentioned, it can't. You will need to get a Fuel-It kit for the ethanol content analyzer.

I have 3 different cars with AP including my Golf-R.. none of them have the unit mounted on the car. I use it to log in the beginning to make sure the tune is sound, then put it way. LOL

If I was to mount mine, I would do the same one Navi did on his car..however GL trying to look at the data while driving hard. AP shines for its logging capability when not flashing the ECU.
