(First time poster so apologies if this isn’t in the correct location)
I have a 2016 R Estate (UK) and today when reversing and going full lock I could hear a cracking sound coming from the steering wheel. Que gearbox error light, airbag error light, ACC error and nothing functioning on the steering wheel even the horn.
From what I can see online this sounds like it could be the clock spring and it appears there’s an extended warranty on it too.
My question is does the cover U.K. registered cars as I can’t seem to see this information online. And if it is covered is it easy to get it carried out?
Any guidance and help would be much appreciated.
