Hey folks,
I have seen a couple of threads with the same issue. I have a golf 7 with Climatronic and I noticed a small white cog lying on the drivers footwell and I identified it as the temp control flap for the drivers side. I have noticed I can’t seem to vary the temperature on the drivers side which is a pain as it’s stuck on a cold-ish setting. Vw want a small fortune to even diagnose the problem - even though I know what it is they want to run diagnostics etc.
I want to try and fix this myself ... I’ve looked in the drivers footwell and I just can’t seem to locate the motor flap to stick the cog back on to see if this fixes the issue. Can anybody tell me exactly where this motor is and how accessible it is?
