Who is smoking on your hood?

If it is recert, then the person is in car so why worry about filtering. Put cig out.

I can usually smell the cigarette smoke from the car in front of me in traffic.

I am also super sensitive to the smell since I quit smoking (years ago)

It looks like the Mann FerociousPlus has been discontinued. I got mine two years ago from ECS and it's now been replaced by the Mann CUK26009. Browsing RockAuto, they have the WIX WP10159Mahle LAO888 (CareMetix), and HENGST E29998LB. Do I need to worry about the 1 star for air flow? Is it overkill? Gotta pay an extra $20 shipping for it.

Browsing RockAuto, they have the WIX WP10159Mahle LAO888 (CareMetix), and HENGST E29998LB. Do I need to worry about the 1 star for air flow? Is it overkill? Gotta pay an extra $20 shipping for it.

Correct. I get the Corteco equivalent now from FCP since the Mann FP is no longer...

My suggestion.

Not an expert but I understand air flow is good for ac systems. Car or house. I would maintain flow. Just change once a year, low cost.

I've ordered an FP 26 009 for £17. I do not have a "blower motor cover plate", how many people include this as part of the replacement process? It's listed in the official VW guidance to reduce the risk of bits falling into the blower motor.
