So i’m at about 7500 miles on my 2020 gti and just about before 3000 miles my pcv has been dumping oil back into the intake causing me to have to refill some oil every once in awhile. I keep seeing how everyone says the facts pcv is amazing with no problems but maybe mine is broken?

So my question is, does anyone think that a catch can would be worth it or should i have the dealership just replace it since I’m still under warranty.
Also i’m stage 2 with catted downpipe

Upgrading to a OCC that replaces the stock PCV, like the Spulen catch can, is really only for people with BT setups and/or people that track their car a lot. For your situation and since it's still under warranty, have the dealership replace the PCV.

cause that's not how warranty work works, and there is no law against them scanning your car or doing what you say

I think they should cover it under warranty bc PCV has been strong on many tuned cars with stock turbos, but will they use it as a way to make you pay out of pocket... probably.

Just order the BL revision of the PCV and replace it yourself. It took 30 min.
