Car Duster?

Catastrophic

Is a car duster a bad idea? My problem is it's just really dirty where I live. I wash my car, and a few hours later you can see a dust layer already on it. I don't want to wash my car daily to keep up with it lol. Any recommendations?

Wash it to remove the dust or leave it until you next usually would wash it, wiping dust off with a cloth will put fine scratches in the paint.

waterless washing occasionally. HIGHLY recommend this video and the products pushed, they are excellent for this purpose.

In short, not safe for paint to do any dry dusting in the long run. See what you can blow off with a blower in the interim if possible.

Duster is a bad idea since it will just trap all of the contaminants and then now you are they basically scrubbing your paint with sand paper. It would be better to just use a quick detail spray or waterless wash with a clean microfiber towel. Light strokes in straight lines and no wax on wax off motions.
