Pp is being sold to dealerships as we speak.
For reference, the mk6 4dr manual is 3144 dry. So yeah, not much reduction there. What does the non-PP weigh? You're talking a locking diff and some larger brakes worth of weight.

Which dealer has one in stock for sale? Where's the option on vw.com with the details confirming that it even has an LSD?

4-door manual MK6 tested at 3103 lbs.
MK7 weight reduction is precisely ZERO.
. Weight was reduced by 100 kg (220 lb).
Volkswagen engineers are quite proud of the fact that they were able to reduce overall weight of the MQB platform vehicle by 40 kg - 60 kg (88 lbs. - 132 lbs.). The chart below shows where the various weight savings came from
The 2 cars I'll be considering in a few years to replace the speed3. Both are solid choices.

Autoblog is claiming 2,941 pounds curb:

And that it's 94 pounds lighter. I mean, it's not 220 but still.
Of course, that's a 2-door they're talking about. It's also a performance package though.
VS the WRX: I feel like there's the famous GTI bias from Car and Driver regarding the GTI. Notice that in the categories it wins in, the point difference is massive and yet in the categories the WRX wins in, the point difference is marginal at best. This is despite the WRX being .6 seconds faster on the strip. I think I really need to drive a WRX in a spirited way. I know the GTI feels more comfortable and refined/balanced. Hell even the MK6 felt cleaner to drive than the WRX but that was a MK6 vs a 2011 WRX.
