Buzzing? after downpipe install

Hi All,
I installed the APR downpipe this week. sounds great! My only concern is that when accelerating with a slightly high load, there is a metallic buzzing sound. I’m almost 100% certain it isn’t a leak at any of the connections. Is there a heat shield that is the usual culprit? I read a bit about the one above the suitcase muffler, but also concerned it might be one of the ones nearer to the downpipe (maybe one was bent out of place).

Anyone who had a similar problem and was able to address it?

Gti? On my old car my downpipe hit a bolt holding a heat shield on the subframe when the motor torqued under acceleration. Tried adjusting the downpipe to fix it but ended up having to remove the bolt. Never had an issue again.

You removed only a bolt or the whole heat shield that attaches to the subframe?

Sounds like it's touching a heat shield.

I notice that it’s louder until the exhaust system heats up, then it’s not as loud. It’s driving me nuts and driving it around this past week it doesn't seem to be the downpipe shifting out of place and contacting a heat shield during heavy acceleration, but almost a resonance. I stuffed 2 damp towels under the rear mufflers’ heat shield but still the sound persisted, so now I’m starting to think it can’t be that. I’m super frustrated and not sure what else to fiddle with. I already tried bending the heat shields near the downpipe itself.

I think I might’ve been shipped the AWD downpipe instead? The bracket looks like the one that comes with the AWD version, not the FWD versions

Definitely looks like an R bracket.
I just checked the shipping box and the APR sticker confirms it’s for FWD, the hardware bag also shows the FWD part #.

Was there a redesign with a new mount and slightly a different bend because mine looks nothing like these 2 older ones fitment wise, and the bracket isnt the same
