Use FOL 80 and run some logs. Should be good

I've been running Map 4 with e30 for a little while now and I want to get a little more power out of the car. The car is all stock aside from the JB4 and an aFe drop in dry filter. Here's a log I pulled the other day. JB4 Log. All the IS12 settings seem to be for 93 octane, does somebody have a starting point for e30?

From 4500 to 5200 you can probably target 15 PSI, and then 13psi to 6000. That's a good start.

Are you downpipe with the e30 and is12? I was able to get around 18-19 psi on 93 and downpipe and ran 23+ psi on e30. Another guy ran the e30 settings on his 4dr auto with the rear seats and spare out. He ran a 13.1@108.5. Let me see if I can find them

With Map 4 It currently has a conservative ramp up to 15 at about 4400 but immediately tapering back down to 10 by 5200. Are you saying hold 15 steady from 4500-5200 and taper down to 13 at 6000?

No downpipe yet. Just IS12 and e30 on Map 4 on George's suggestion. I planned on getting one on a Black Friday sale but had knee surgery and a week and a half of unpaid leave instead.

Yes carry the 15 psi further. The IS12 is definitely capable of more boost, it's just about how good your fuel is.

If you want to just send it, use some @TwinDad settings. Haha.

If your e30 is a 93 octane mix, you should be able to get close to 20psi at 4k. You'll end up with Bell curve, LOl since the is12 will just run out of steam up top regardless of gas. You're currently at boost levels some can achieve on straight 93.
Here is a run I did last summer on straight 93. https://datazap.me/u/goodvibes/11-1...5-145-135-125?log=0&data=1-3-4-11-18-25-26-27 . Only mod is drop in with slightly opened airbox.

I'd gradually raise boost in the 4-4.5k range with ramping on either side to find your max boost and then find max at other RPM. Over 6k, you probably won't get any timing adjustments and should just set the JB4 for .5 to 1 psi over the max boost it can make there. I think things like e30 or flash tunes with a piggyback work better with IS20 swaps.

Tried a stack in my flex fuel tune with e40. The car liked it a lot. Starting logs at 3,000 rpm in third gear now gets wheelspin. And this is with an automatic and about 200 lbs of crap in the back of the sportwagen. I figured all in I was about 3,700 lbs. The car is close to 3,250, I'm 275, I had a full set of PP brakes in the back, rotors, calipers, dust shields, etc, a Werner multi ladder that is a good 60+ lbs, and a muffler from an S4. Lol.

I also let it ride out third to shift in its own. It's usually right before 6,500. With jb4 only I was getting my best results shifting right around 6,000. I may increase the stack more and make it +5 all the way to 5,000 and then add 1 above that.

@ZuMBLe I'll reply back here for you. Yeah, the car is back on the road. VW swears nothing is wrong and everything is within spec. So I put new plugs in and drive it for a couple of days. No CEL, no smoke, no idle issues. So I decided to send it.
The car feels phenomenal. I got a little giddy when it spun the tires shifting into third for the first time. Looking at the logs and comparing to no stack, it has room. Going to go +5 from 2,000-5,000 and then add 1 to the existing targets above that. I think with removing all of the weight and roof racks as well as shifting at 6,000, I should be able to get to mid 5's
