Build Quality - Rear Window Diffuser/Spoiler

3 months old now and already the rear Window Diffuser/Spoiler is coming off...has anyone else experienced this?

Very common but minor problem, VW will fix it for you but expect it to come adrift again at some point. Mine is secured for now with a dot of silicone until they replace it and it is more secure that it has ever been.

Yeah...kinda thought this would be a common trait after seeing that its only held on by double sided sticky foam! Might try the silicone fix.

I'd like to see VW get things like this sorted out before I spring for a MK7 in December.

It seems to me that one resolved issue is just as quickly replaced by another...then another...and so on ?
I think you'll be waiting a long time to have an issue free MK7...however despite all the small niggles, once you sink your foot to the floor of a GTi, you just can't stop loving it [emoji594][emoji95][emoji100] ?

Who knows if any little fixes will make their way into production in the next 6 months?

very common almost all cars in the dealer lot faced this issue.

dealer ordered two new ones for me but i just left it with them and replaced the double sided tape on mine and now they are stuck on good.
