Yes first 1,000 oil is not necessary but it's something I'm just use to doing.
Just before my Golf R past 1,000 miles I order a oil service from ECS Tuning. Switching out Castrol for Motul. Just my preference. Also got ECS oil filter housing and dipstick. So after work I put the Golf R on my lift and got to work. When I drain out the Castrol it look more dirty brown them dirty gold or lite black color. Thinking some of the Castrol oil has engine assembly lube mix in. The ECS oil housing and dipstick give he engine bay a nice look with out going over the top.
Last week I received LEYO Motorsport billet aluminum paddle shifter extensions, climate/radio knobs and turbo muffler delete. The paddle expensions were a much need piece to finish off the interior and give more sense of occasion with banging thru the gears on twisty roads.
The knobs will be installed on a later date. And muffler delete installed once I get new charge pipes and intake.
Thanks for viewing.
