Did you make it to any track events on this setup yet? I'm curious as to the results for SAs and Eibachs with the Camster mounts.
Unfortunately I haven't made it back on track yet, hopefully that'll happen this summer. This setup has been pretty transformative even on the street so I'm eager to experience it on circuit

Yes, the comfort level has been very good IMO. It was great on a roadtrip to L'oe Show last summer, and no one who has ridden in the car has complained about ride comfort either. Even with my daily driver as a palette cleanser for ride comfort (B8.5 Audi A4), I don't get in the GTI and start cursing harshness- part of why I do just as many miles in it as I do my "daily" (8k last year) haha

Yes, the comfort level has been very good IMO. It was great on a roadtrip to L'oe Show last summer, and no one who has ridden in the car has complained about ride comfort either. Sounds about perfect then! One last curiosity: did you have any issues with the front strut shafts clearing the strut tower tops when using the camster mounts? A few people have reported the SAs have longer threaded ends that can contact the strut towers, but not everyone has this issue apparently.

I didn't have any issues with that (y)

Just realized I haven't posted in this thread for like a year, spent most of summer and fall just driving and enjoying the car. I made one tune revision to dial the fueling more. Only lingering issue tune wise is the secondary O2 code that wrecks my long-term fuel trims. I've just been intermittently clearing it for the time being until I have a moment to dive in and sort that out.

Most of winter, the GTI just sat like this, and then it's new battery I bought in November-ish died despite me putting it on the trickle. Fortunately autozone gave me a replacement no questions asked


Then over the weekend I changed the oil

I have a few ideas of things I want to do to the car this year, and a couple basic maintenance things to tackle. I'll keep you guys updated as things happen
