Gti PP DSG. So my stock valve is occasionally getting stuck open after shifting and annoying the hell out of me. Thinking of getting a bov, thoughts or recommendations for plan of action what to purchase etc?

Definitely waste money on a BOV - get the Turbosmart and report back the changes!
Mind posting a link?Turbosmart version "C" plumback is a solid option. The way it seals does not require the opening on the casting to be perfect (which some are not). Turbosmart has been working hard to make their units best on market.
Mine is holding and releasing boost well.
It's abnormal leak/complete loss on throttle, I'd stick with stock but it doesn't seem to be a big fan of apr 1.If it’s at partial throttle that normal. Our ECU uses both the DV and EWG to control boost.
Any aftermarket piece would be a downgrade IMO, but if you feel obligated to spend money the turbosmart recirculating seems to be the best built option

Yeah I've heard the stock valve usually holds up well but I'm just not so lucky. Easy replace, easy fix and maybe I'll get some more of the fun noises along the way. Having a hard time deciding between split or full recirculation.Definitely an isolated incident, my car has been apr tuned 65k miles with zero issues, and that’s the norm across the board regardless of tune.
If you do decide to go with the turbosmart we all referred you to I can say BMP is a great source to get it from. They also do rewards point towards free stuff
