I asked the same exact question 2 days ago, still waiting on response from George.

Only thing I ever got as well. I assume this is the receipt as there was no such thing in the package for mine.

Complete JB4 Beta units will be available in the next two weeks at a opening price of $429 (final price will be $479).

Hey George, I live in CA. Do you have an estimate of when 3rd party vendors will carry the JB4?

Ok, so non-upgrade kits will be available in the next couple of weeks?

Hi George, if I buy a JB1 and the upgrade concurrently, will I still be eligible for the $75 core refund? Alternatively, when the standalone JB4 units are available, will they be only $50 more than a JB1 as well?

Yes, you still get the refund.
Yes introductory price is only $50 more.

Ditto. I would like to know this as well before ordering. I have no email or receipt. Address hasn't changed from when they shipped me the JB1 so maybe we can get some sort of email authorization to ship the core back with.

I am not sure how these will be handled. In the past dealers do not get upgrade kits and everyone deals direct. This might be a challenge.

I don't live in CA. I'm just saying I have no email from when I bought the JB1 so I have no proof I am the original owner (I am) other than you would be shipping the JB4 to the same house you shipped the JB1. Just wondering what I could ship back with the core to make the process smoother for your company and I can get this net $50 out of pocket.

Is there any reason this will not work for the refund?

Deleted image after realizing this could cause an issue for forgery*

Will the email confirmation from BMS (direct order) with order number suffice for the receipt?

Can the JB4 support larger turbos?
At this stage on the 1.8T we can support the IS20 and on the GTI the IS38. On the R any larger frame turbo will require a flash of some sort.

George,

do you have data on what the JB4 will produce with an IS20 on a 1.8T over the stock IS12?

Will there be any race gas or e85 map?
There will most likely be race gas maps,

Now for E85, Ive already talked to George, He said we can do a tune for E30

Not more than E30 is needed.
There are tools online that can help with the ratios.

My fault, it was early and my question was probably confusing. Let me see if I can re-word my questions:

1) Will I notice any boost in performance if my E30 mix calculates out to 95.9 octane versus 94.7 octane? (Will explain more below)

2) To realize the gains you mentioned from E30, can we just use what comes pre-loaded onto the JB4, or do we first need to create a custom map to take advantage of E30?

Regarding 94.7 vs. 95.9 octane, see the below screenshots of the E85 calculator. For the 91 octane portion of the mix, I have the option of using gas with either 0% ethanol or 10% ethanol. Obviously using the 0% ethanol for the 91 octane gas portion will yield a higher octane, but wondering if it is worth my hassle as in that case I need to fill my E85 portion then drive a couple miles to another station for the 0% ethanol gas, whereas the E85 station also has pumps for gas with 10% ethanol. Hopefully I'm wording this all correctly.
